Frequently Asked Questions

The questions customers ask before booking, answered the way we would answer them on your doorstep.

How is pricing calculated?

We quote a flat price per job based on the items to be assembled, not an hourly rate. Send photos of your boxes or product links with quantities, and we reply with a total price and available booking windows. The price includes labor, tools, standard hardware, and cleanup. If the scope changes on site, we re-quote before continuing, so there are no surprises on either side.

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Fort Collins and serve Loveland, Windsor, Timnath, Severance, Wellington, and the surrounding Northern Colorado communities. For commercial installations and larger projects we travel further by arrangement. If your address is near the edge of our service area, contact us and we will confirm honestly whether we can get there.

Do I need to have the boxes unopened or ready?

Unopened boxes are ideal because some manufacturers require intact packaging for warranty claims, but opened boxes are fine too. What helps most is having all boxes for an item present and accessible. If a delivery is still pending, mention it when booking and we will schedule with buffer so a delayed shipment does not cost you a visit fee.

How long does assembly take?

Most single items take between thirty minutes and two hours. Beds with storage, wardrobes, and large sectional units take longer, and office projects are scheduled by the workstation count. When we quote your job we give you an expected duration and a booking window, and we treat your time as seriously as our own.

Do you bring your own tools?

Yes, fully. Our crews arrive with drivers, specialty bits, levels, mallets, stud finders, and anchoring hardware for common wall types. You do not need to lend us anything except access. If a specific piece requires unusual hardware, we identify that from the manual ahead of time and bring it.

What if parts are missing or damaged?

We inventory hardware as we open boxes. If a part is missing or a panel arrives damaged, we document it with photos for your retailer claim and continue with everything that can be completed. In many cases we can source compatible hardware locally. We never quietly force a build through with the wrong parts.

Will you take away the packaging?

Yes, packaging removal and breakdown is included, and we separate cardboard for recycling on request. Some customers prefer to keep boxes during a return window, which is completely reasonable; just tell us at the start and we will stack them neatly instead.

Is there a guarantee on your work?

Every assembly carries our workmanship guarantee. If a joint we fastened loosens or a mount we installed shifts under normal use within the guarantee period, we return and correct it at no charge. The guarantee covers our workmanship; manufacturer defects in the furniture itself remain covered by the retailer or maker.

Can you work in offices outside business hours?

Yes. We regularly schedule commercial installations for evenings and weekends so your team loses no working hours. For multi-day projects we provide a written sequence showing which areas will be usable and when, and we leave each day's work area safe and clean.

How do I book?

Call +1 (813) 730-1338 or email jennifer@assemblyrequiredllc.us with photos or a product list. We reply with a flat quote and booking options, typically the same business day. Once you pick a window, you get a confirmation and a heads-up text before we arrive.

Still deciding?

Ask us anything before you book. A quick question now prevents a scheduling mistake later, and we would rather answer it twice than see you struggle with a cam lock at midnight.
