About Assembly Required LLC

The name says it all: when furniture arrives in pieces, someone has to build it right. We are that someone, and we take the job seriously enough to make it a company.

Our Story

Assembly Required LLC started in Fort Collins with a simple observation. More furniture than ever is sold flat-packed, shipped directly to doorsteps, and priced for people who are expected to assemble it themselves with an Allen wrench and an optimistic evening. Some people enjoy that. Many do not, and plenty of others simply do not have the time, the tools, or the spare set of hands the job actually needs. We built a company for the second group: a local crew whose whole business is assembling furniture properly, quickly, and without leftover parts.

We are a Colorado limited liability company based at 3132 Grand Teton Pl in Fort Collins, with Jennifer Wade serving as our registered agent. Our assemblers work across Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor, Timnath, and the wider Northern Colorado corridor, handling everything from a single bookcase to a twelve-desk office installation.

Why Assembly Is a Skill

It is tempting to think of flat-pack assembly as simple, and that assumption is exactly why so many furniture pieces fail early. Particleboard strips when fasteners are overtightened. Cam locks cross-thread when rushed. Dressers tip when wall anchors are skipped. Wardrobes rack out of square when panels are joined in the wrong order. Every instruction manual exists because an engineer found a failure worth preventing. Our assemblers are trained to read those manuals the way mechanics read service procedures: in full, in order, and with respect for why each step is there.

How We Treat Your Home and Business

Assemblers arrive uniformed and background-checked, with a complete tool kit and drop cloths for floors and carpet. We sort hardware before assembly begins, keep work areas contained, and finish every job by removing packaging, wiping down finished surfaces, and walking you through the completed pieces. For offices and commercial spaces, we schedule around your operating hours and leave workstations ready for employees to sit down at the next morning.

The Guarantee We Stand Behind

Every assembly carries our workmanship guarantee. If a joint we built loosens or a mounted item shifts under normal use within the guarantee period, we come back and make it right at no charge. That guarantee exists because we rarely need it, and because trust is the actual product of a service business like ours.

What We Believe

Working principles, posted where everyone can see them

01

Read the Manual

Manufacturer instructions exist for a reason. We follow sequence and hardware placement exactly, then add our own quality checks on top.

02

Snug, Not Stripped

Fasteners get the right torque for the material. Overtightening is the most common cause of flat-pack failure, and we refuse to cause it.

03

Anchor Everything Tall

Dressers, bookcases, and wardrobes get wall anchoring offered and installed. Stability is not an upsell; it is standard advice.

04

Leave the Room Better

Packaging out, surfaces wiped, scraps recycled on request. You should notice the furniture, not the mess it came in.

05

Flat, Honest Pricing

One quoted price for the whole job, agreed before we start. If scope changes, we re-quote before continuing.

06

Show Up When Promised

Booking windows are respected, arrival heads-up texts are standard, and rescheduling happens only with real notice.

Where our vans work

We are headquartered in Fort Collins and book jobs throughout the surrounding communities: Loveland, Windsor, Timnath, Severance, Wellington, and north into the growing neighborhoods along the I-25 corridor. For larger commercial installations, we travel further across Northern Colorado by arrangement.

If you are just outside the map, ask anyway. We would rather tell you honestly whether the trip makes sense than turn away a good project automatically.
